Wait List 2024

West Coast Cavaliers receives numerous emails, texts, messages & calls a day with inquiries about the availability of any Cavalier King Charles puppy for sale. We spend hours answering questions, sending pictures, emailing questionnaires & following up with people who are only window shopping, or comparison shopping. To distinguish who is actually serious about wanting one of our cavalier puppies, we require a deposit to be placed on our wait list. 

No. Our puppies are in our home. Our home is not open to the public. It is only available to serious perspective paw'rents who have filled out the puppy questionnaire, been approved, made the deposit, viewed photos & videos; & have narrowed their choices down to 1 or 2 pups. 

We DO NOT allow visits to people who "might be buying" or "just looking" we leave this type of "puppy shopping" to the puppy mills, brokers and pet stores who are notorious for sick dogs due to this careless & unsanitary way of selling. This also limits exposure of the pups to outside sickness. We do not expose human infants to large groups of people so why would we do that to our fur'babies?  Be very careful of sellers who have the ability to accommodate 'drop-in' visits to everyone and always has a pup available.

No but the deposit is applied to the purchase price of the puppy. The deposit you make covers the time we spend sending you photos, videos, updates & answering all your questions regarding the puppies West Coast Cavaliers has available. 

Our puppies are our children. We protect them as you would your human child. Unfortunately, puppy thefts are on the rise. Scammers are also working full time to steal photos, pedigree information, statistics & contact information. We protect our puppies, ourselves and you. 

This is a tricky question. First, you should realize not everyone on the list may want the same puppy as you. They might want a different color, sex, pet/breeding etc. They also might have a particular look they desire. Another factor is timing. The timing may just not be right for another person once they receive the notice, so they may pass on a particular puppy from a current litter. So the placement you have on the list can vary. We honor the list, contacting each person in order, but anyone who passes gets moved to the next litter. So your name may come up sooner than you think. And since we are dealing with nature, we can not be sure of the sex/color/genes/quantity of puppies each litter will produce, which also affects the wait list movement. Also sometimes, fellow wait list participants will have obtained a puppy from another breeder and have forgotten to have their name removed from the wait list. So please don't jump to any conclusions when reviewing your position on the wait list. 

* If a litter does not produce the sex/color of puppy you are looking for, you remain on the Wait List for the next litter. 

You will receive an email within 48 hours granting access to the secure list. You will see your name listed under the preferences you provided. (If you change your mind or need to update your preferences, you will need to send an email updating the information.) 

You will also see the information of others on the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppy waitlist. It will read as follows:

First Name Initial - Last Name Initial - Sex Preferred (possibly special note)

Ex: Jane Doe wants a female Blenheim (pet only). 

JD-F (wants thumbprint)
